AISD Board of Trustees Election
The Board of Trustees election is scheduled for May 4th, 2024. Abernathy ISD will have three at-large Trustee positions on the ballot in the General Election and one Trustee position to fill an unexpired term ending 2026 on the ballot in the Special Election.
Application Process
The candidate filing period to file an application for a place on the ballot is as follows:
General Election | January 17, 2024 – February 16, 2024
Monday - Thursday 8:00am – 4:00pm
Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm
Special Election | January 12, 2024 – March 4, 2024
Monday – Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm
Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm
Application packets can be picked up in the Superintendent Secretary’s office located inside the Administration Building at 505 7th Street, Abernathy, Texas 79311. All applications filed are public records and open to inspection upon request.
