Our Curriculum

Abernathy ISD's curriculum is the State of Texas’ Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).  The TEKS are bundled into units of study for each core content subject area and grade level.  The sequence of these units for AISD's curriculum is listed in the Year at a Glance document for each core content below:

The TEKS Resource System

The TEKS are bundled into units of study for our district by the TEKLS Resource System. Each core content subject area and grade level. They can be accessed below.

Abernathy ISD uses documents in the TEKS Resource System to support teachers in planning and designing their instruction to meet the needs of their students. The TEKS Resource System has recently added a Parent Resources tab to their website at TEKS Resource System
