The Board of Education for Abernathy Independent School District proudly announces Mr. Glen Hill as the Lone Finalist for Superintendent of Schools. This
action was taken at a special called board meeting on June 20, 2025.

A state-mandated 21-day waiting period is required before Mr. Hill can officially be hired as Superintendent. Currently, Mr. Hill is Superintendent for Paint Creek ISD.
Prior to that position, he worked for Albany ISD as the Secondary Principal and has also served Knox City-O’Brien CISD as the High School Principal. Glen will be joined by his wife, Kelsea and two children, Whitten and Channing.
