We are rescheduling our final School Board Onboarding Course from Monday, February 23rd, to Tuesday, February 24th, at 6:00 PM in the Big Room.

Why the change? Because we’ll be traveling to Canyon to cheer on our Lady Lopes in their Area Playoff game vs. Panhandle at 6:00 PM on Thursday and then Boys Basketball plays on Monday!

If you’ve missed a previous session, don’t worry — this one is an important one.

We will be covering EISO (Evaluating and Improving Student Outcomes) training, which:

Is required for school board members

Can potentially save the district hundreds of dollars if completed in-house

Will count for official board training hours

Mr. Hill is a certified trainer and will be able to award the appropriate credit hours.

If you have signed up to run for the board, this is an excellent opportunity to get a head start on required training. Even if you’re simply interested in learning more about the Texas school accountability system and how boards impact student outcomes, we would love to have you join us.
