High School Band Honors

Super proud of Jacalin Raelyn Biggs, Keelan Knight, Craig Schueler, and Joe Villa. Saturday they competed at the area level on their respective instruments. Jackie and Craig made a return trip. Both improved from previous years! Joe, a first time auditioned, is the ATSSB Area West 1st alternate to the All State Band for the trumpet section. Keelan will be returning for his second time to San Antonio in February as member of the ATSSB All-State Band in the percussion section as he finished 1st at Area for the second year in a row.

We'd also like to congratulate the Abernathy Band students who earned a spot in the 3A/4A High School All Region Band. Special thanks to Mrs. Knight working with the students the last two weeks.
