Welcome to Abernathy ISD!

I am proud to call Abernathy ISD home, where our priority is ensuring student success in both academics and extracurricular activities. Our community and district demonstrate a deep pride, shown through the care and support provided to students and adults alike.

Our pride extends to our facilities, which we cherish and maintain with the dedication of our exceptional maintenance staff. Thanks to the foresight and commitment of our school boards, community support, and the stewardship of previous administrations over decades, Abernathy ISD boasts some of the finest campuses on the South Plains.

Abernathy's location adds to its appeal, offering the benefits of a close-knit community while being conveniently located just 12 miles north of the airport and 18 interstate miles north of the Texas Tech Campus in Lubbock.

 

I am excited about our current achievements and optimistic about the future. At Abernathy ISD, we are committed to providing an exceptional educational experience for all students, empowering them with the tools they need to pursue their dreams and achieve their highest potential.
