Abernathy ISD Middle School Robotics: Sponsored by Bayer

In 2023, Abernathy Middle School started a robotics program. In the inaugural year of their program, the Abernathy 1 team won their first ever competition with 340 points at the Frenship GEAR Robotics Game Day held on April 15, 2023. They will advance on to the Championship tournament which will be help at Texas Tech University. Abernathy 2 was also awarded the GEAR Head award and advanced on to the championship competition held on April 29, 2023. 

 

Our Abernathy ISD Middle School Robotics program is sponsored by the Bayer Cottonseed Production Plant in Lubbock, TX. Bayer provided the school with three new robots and expansion packs.
